Your videos always help me out so much it's insane. I did the electric part on my 90, just ground one wire to a bolt on the cad cover and run another wire up to the blue top hat thing and splice into it,then the 4wd light works. But I still can't find out where to put that cap at to stop the vacuum. Cause some say you need to cap it cause of something about the transfer case? Mines a 4 banger and supposedly it's a red vac hose? Whereabouts unknown at the moment?

Great informative video. Just what I needed. However you forgot to mention the electrical wires unless your posi lok didn't come with wires and switch.

It did come with it but the switch is bad. I've got a better option that I just haven't got around to installing/videoing yet. Coming soon!

Power Addicts, great video as usual. What made you install the posi-Lock? I thought you kept your axles engaged full-time?

You are correct I did keep the collar engaged full time. I installed a Spartan lunch box locker so I added the Posi-Lok as well. By being able top dis-engage and re-engage the CAD I will be able to create videos about the performance, pros, and cons of the drivability of the locker. Once I get all those videos done I'm going to do a solid axle swap using an XJ axle therefore eliminating the CAD.

I just received the PSL900 and it has issues just looking at it. The big nuts do not slide off the cable (like you did) to install the mounting bracket. The pressed fittings are bigger than the nut,,it cannot be taken off. Not a huge issue I can modify the mounting bracket to slide over the cable. The mounting bracket will look like a fork instead of a hole. Hopefully the nuts will secure it enough from falling out. Second the aluminum housing is not machined correctly,,the cable wont go thru the hole,,I had to take a file and clean out the hole with threads very close to what I am removing. It worked and now the cable end goes thru the housing . And 3rd,,I have the 1st page of instructions,, a missing staple and any other pages that were once here. I guess not needed? Who reads instructions?

Does this allow the factory 4x4 light switch to work or would I have to wire it into the transfer case as I’ve seen others do with a one piece axle swap

Chuck hope you can help I have a 04 jeep tj 4.0 it s a project jeep I have an issue when I am going 45 mph an over the jeep will chugging an engine light will flash just replaced all 4 o2 sensors an exhuast please help

How is the transfer case affected with regard to four wheel low or four wheel high?

This mod doesn't have any affect on the transfer case. Your gear selector (transfer case shifter) tells the transfer case where it needs to be, not the front axle.
