You can usually use a piece of scrap pipe that's a similar diameter but if there is a specialized tool available I would get it due to the extremely high cost of these transmissions.

Ah m-drive lol my lead man is making me get one of these in myself for the 4th go round with one of these pigs, but the input shaft is fuckin me😂, so I'm trying to find the easiest route possible cause I put 3 hours in with an inspection mirror and a light trying to see if everything is lined up and needless to say I gotta come back to it Monday lol

Remember to not go cheap always put new bolts in. Just spent thousands of dollars replacing flywheel housing and clutch because the old bolts snapped and the ones that didn't stripped out and everything come apart driving down the road.

They say that about head bolts too but I've reused them before and it's usually fine. It's just an extra precaution for people who have the money to do it but if you don't have the extra coin it's not that big of a deal.

@nevinkuser9892 the guy I bought the truck from had just put the clutch in, it lasted about 5 months before the whole thing came apart. $100 in bolts would have saved me $9k
