at 5:28 there looks to be lower angle brackets which suddenly appear... Do those come with the Setina bumper? I am looking at a Police Explorer and it has only straight brackets coming out and those lower angle brackets are missing...

I did this myself yesterday. Took me 8.5hrs to do, and im a noob when ut cimes to mechanical work. I did it though. The biggest problem they give u 25mm long bolts, they needed to be 30mm, so u have to tighten everything down on the brackets and it will bend the brackets to fit the 25mm bolts.

I have a 2017 PIU I have to remove the front end to be able to install the glass fog light fixture on each side. So far (on both sides) I have removed all the 5.5mm, the one plastic screw, the two Phillips head screws and from under the front there are (3) 8mm on those corner pieces. BUT several videos that I have watched, like yours, talk about (2) 10mm coming from the top somewhere. Anyone have an idea where or how I can get my big paws up in there? I REALLY need some details - PLEASE! BTW I am removing the front before these fixtures come in because I need to cut away the plastic so that they just pop right in. I would rather use the Dremel tool slowly and neatly than pay for these with the cut outs at $82.44 each

How did you get to the 10 mm bolts that hold the bumper to the fender?

this is a real pain but if you need to bend back the fender wall after turning your wheel as far as you can

also do your self a favor and go down to your local hardware store to get one of those flex bits that is about a foot long for your drill to get at the tight spaces. BLACK+DECKER™ 12" Right Angle Flexible Shaft Holder Model Number: BDARAFLEX12 this is what i found at menards i was really kicking myself in the butt for not getting this sooner :(

No, it would require new brackets but the bumper would fit.

He does not show mounting the upper and lower brackets. Also, you have to align everything with the fascia on then take it off to tighten everything up. Not a 20 minute job. 4 hours if you’re lucky.

@@ParadoxDiscrepancy it's a pretty easy install. This install should take at most 1.5 hours, to mount this bumper.

remember the L shape bracket that holds the top of the push bar goes behind with the c bracket in front. the bottom bracket fits in upside down with the L pointing down. make sure to measure to ensure that your brackets are straight and flush tighten these brackets down hard. leave the brackets that hold the bumper on loose for maximum flexibility.

I find it strange that the ground goes to the black wire, and the hot to the green! It is usually the other way around.

black is always ground on DC... thus the black cable that connects to the battery.. green is earth ground but it used to be black... before we started using real electricity lil... there was no neutral ... white/ as far as the green wire.... don't quote me... but any color wire other than black is a hot on the firewall feed. if you look there are a few. basically ford decided it was a great idea to not have up fitters drill thru the firewall for obvious reasons.... plus it's a pain in the ass since it's literally one of the strongest points of any car. always always check the wiring... with a meter regardless... you never know. FYI... whelen uses wire colors to designate what light is what color... so in this case ... the green wire would be a green light
