I had my smoke machine working in the grand hauler but the board speed controller blew up after about 10 minutes of on and off tests using like you are now may use a winch controller piggy backed into my throttle wires also going to use a bec on the smoke unit to keep it cool. Going to use those metal mounts now seen it lifts it up I opened the smoke unit and sorta wrapped the cotton inside around the coil for more consistent smoke

I couldn't get the electronics to work with the smoke machine. Even hooked to the piggyback on the throttle. So I had to wire it direct to the taco switch for on and off. Direct battery power.
