Last winter season I used my 486.244280 plow all al worked well. This winter I have pu the plow back on, but for some reason I cant get the blade to raise up. Its like something is in the way of the lift link assembly pins, but when I remove the lift handle rod assembly the lift link assembly pins move freely, everything seems to be assembled correctly.I have watched several KZbin videos and read and re read the instruction manual several times. The only thing I have not done is grease the lift link bracket and the pins. BTW its the third mower I have had it on, 1 Craftsman, one MTD Yard machines and one Cub cadet.

Happy new year! Oh my these OEM attachment are always a pain in the butt to deal with! Great video, Hopefully you'll receive the proper attachment for your rods because if you get heavy snow it's gonna get messy at some point with these little L shape metal pieces.

The blade has some "skid shoes" (not sure what to call them) that are adjustable, but I found it better to just let the blade go all the way down to the ground. For me, with an asphalt driveway, that works best, and I don't think it wears too much on the scraper bar at the bottom of the plow.

Nice job but Sears bought those blades from Agra Fab as a universal blades, they have one bad flaw, they push from the front which lifts the front wheels and you can't steer.

No idea where they came from....they were on the tractor years ago when my neighbor gave it to me.

You know what I do I leave the blade on the ground squeeze it and I drive either forward or backward whichever way you want the blade if you don't want it clunky

I can't seem to get up my driveway I have chains in the back and a weight mechanism .does tire pressure play a big role in traction?

Maybe softer tires (less air pressure) would help. Someone suggested that to me once.....

Mon principe est tres simple plus que ton principe avec cable moi tu actione le bras de tondeur pis il y a 0 cable tu appuie sur la clanche pis tu la fais baisser pis tu appuie pour la remonter pis c'est tout se que tu as besoin de faire pis elle a un ajustement d'engle direct sur le support de la gratte elle est sur l'avant du support proche de la gratte elle meme

Moi je vais prendre une gratte neuve pis y faire une petite modification deux attache non existente que je vais faire sur le support de la pour l attacher sur les deux attaches existente plus faire un leve gratte sur le bras de tondeur qui est deja sur le tracteur tondeuse craftsman 14.5 hp briggs et stratton sa va prendre apres tout sa 5 minutes a installer quand je vais avoir fais le leve gratte plus les deux attaches non existente plus sur le bras le leve gratte elle va se lever avec le bras de tondeur existent apres les deux attachesnon existente sur le support de la gratte plus le leve gratte quand je vais installer les deux choses la sa va me prendre 5 minutes a toute installer sa ferait une video de 7 minutes

Ta video dure presque 30 minutes la mienne va durer 8 minutes avec la demonstration de comment sa va se faire pour lever la gratte pis se que j'ai u besoin de faire pour que je puisse la fixer sur le tracteur plus le je vais l'installer dans la video la durer de la video 8 minutes l'inttalation plus demonstration du fonctionement du leve gratte neuve
