I'm 70 years old and have a GR-1. Before I found your video I was ready to toss the sternum strap. Installing this strap could be another event at the next Go Ruck competition. My hands are bleeding, I have a headache and I'm convinced that this strap, like the Go Ruck concept, was devised by someone in the military. Foolishness. Thanks again! I should be fully recovered in a week or so

I had passed this video in your library as I didn't see the need for it. I have a pre-installed sternum strap on my LR33, but none for my GR2-26 until it arrived in the mail today. I got used to it, and missed having one on the GR2, so had ordered one. This video was excellent, and thankyou for the timesave. I found it interesting that it is from over 2 years ago, so you are now reaching people through space and time as well. Very cool.

Before this video, kneeling on the garage floor with some quality cussing for 10-12 mins. In my office installing along with the video < 3 mins. Then cussed for not checking KZbin first.

Do you have a video for properly installing the waist belt too? Whenever I go to use it, it just pulls right out.
@JBOutside16 ай бұрын
I don’t. But you have to weave the long piece through sets of webbing, on the bag and strap

How high should the sternum strap be?

Mostly personal preference, but mid-chest is most comfortable for me.
