Hi, don't you need the vertical batons going down first with the rafters, before laying the horizontal 2x2 batons across? Or are the verticals ones optional? Thanks

What is the material used for insulation??? We are from India and our climate is a bit hot here. Some people from India are installing without using insulation material and complaining that the house is hot inside😛... What do you say ??? Can we reduce the inside temperature by using Insulation material??? Please let us know the material you use... Thanks in advance...

I've been working with stone coated steel tile installers for over 30 years. Train someone to install that product in 2 hours.....is a bald-faced lie! I spent an entire week training multiple crews on how to install these types of roofs just to see them screw it up over and over and over. It takes a minimum of one year of intensive work to get a guy trained to properly install a stone coated steel "Tile" profile!

Hidden fasteners on 99% of the panels & flashing is good. Exposed fasteners on the ridge seems like a poor idea. 2x3 on the batons would be better than a 2x2, 2x3 will lay flatter and give a 50% better bearing surface.
