How to Install a Synergy Manufacturing MFG Trackbar and Sector Shaft Brace for Jeep Wrangler

Hey Abs, Mate awesome video really accompanies the synergy instructions. One thing i noticed most likley you have already done it. But for any would be installers out there who will under take this task. The installation instructions can be downloaded from the website as well.See section 16. of the instructions, there should be 1 x 7/16-20 UNF x 3/4 long bolt which needs to go inside the exsisting track bar brace housing and into the sector shaft bracket. The older kits had washer and nut.The newer kits have a thread tapped into the sector shaft brace and all that is required is the bolt and washer. Chur Reubs

Oh sorry lol, must have been half asleep 😂 Yes, made a massive difference for me, made the steering feel a lot 'tighter'. No so much wander so over all tight. Wander is prob your caster

My JK with a 2.5" lift drives great until I hit a rough patch and then it feels like its driving me, especially at high speeds. Going to order this and install myself, hope it works!!

Could help for sure. If you are getting crazy steering after hitting a rough patch is probably more like with bump steer (do you have aftermarket arms?) or your ball joints are starting to go.. I'd check these as well :)

Hey man idk if it's just me but at 4:58 it looks like your bump stops dont hit the center of the pads maybe adjust the control arms but it could just be me awesome video.

Hey mate thanks for the comment! Yeah they're all good, looks a bit funny in the video cause the angle I had the diff at. Have since pulled them out and gave them a cleanup etc when I put the new springs in.. they were a bit of a mess!

@@VideoShowMeHow thanks I have a 3.5 inch AEV lift for just over one year. I've never experienced death wobbles (thank god) it's a pretty good lift. I'm changing my ball joints thought as they are stuffed with teraflex ball joints. This might be my next mod. How long is the install?

Nice video, did it fix your steering? I've just put a new after market front diff in and it has highlighted a whole lot of issues on my 08 jeep, one was track bar bushes were worn out, I replaced it and it has made a difference but still play in my steering, I noticed some play on my sector shaft, I am going to try and make some adjustments to the steering box and see if that helps but think I'm probably going to go with this mod at some stage

Hi, and thank you so much for the video tutorial. Do I have a doubt, once I lift the machine on the deck, then lift it off the frame, can I immediately disconnect the track bar or do I have to lock the front axle somehow? Thanks

@@SPLpower94 the track bar keeps the axel centred under the body. If it does nice it's no big deal to get the bolt back in, just have someone turn steering wheel slowly (with wheels on the ground) and it will line up easily enough

thankyou for the video, all very clear! i also have the rhd and considering the trackbar brace front and back also the front sector shaft brace. prob is that i have the jks adjustable trackbar for front and rear. what is the concern regarding compatibility? i know they recommend only synergy trackbars. the only think i can think of is the jks front trackbar locking nut contacting the sector shaft brace? from what i can see the rear track bar brace shld be no problem.
