That bilge area is a lot cleaner than mine on my boat. Any tricks on keeping bilge areas clean? 😁

Starbrite mold remover works wonder but don’t let it sit for too long. Just like every other cleaning product, it’s corrosive

If the screw holes for the cap has 5200 in them, will you be able to remove them when and if you need to replace the cap? Thanks.

They can be a pain sometimes but you can use the heat gun a little bit to soften it up

Bud, you have to address the rust on that bilge specially the thru-hulls at the transom. opening two additional holes to install two additional water pickup was a bad call because now you have 3 separate water pickup which is totally unnecessary, it would had been better to just upgrade the factory 3/4 high speed pickup manifold to 1" and that would has been more than enough.

First off all BUD, rust was handled. Secondly a 1” is not sufficient enough to pump 2200 gallons an hour plus a 60PSI wash down. Most importantly though, the pick up was too low which caused sand and debris to get sucked into the pumps. Also the pick up was too close to the stern, the pumps were air locking with any kind of reverse. The boat has 70+ days of fish since and all the problems were solved. Not an issue.

Yeah, I can see how you were picking up sand and debris just by looking at the expose fiberglass on the bottom of the hull. The manifold setup on the link below has been proven for over 20+ years to be effective and reliable on these non-stepped hulls specially on the 31-33 No-stepped Contender Hulls. Now you have two additional holes in the hull and two additional SCOOP STRAINER'S which are in line or near the lower units. Tight lines.
