How to install a Tomei Expreme Ti Exhaust. Best one yet!!

The Tomei Expreme Ti exhuast sounds absolutely amazing. The titanium truly does give off a different sound note. I am in love with it. In person this exhaust sounds much better. For those wondering I do indeed have equal length headers. The main difference I could tell you right off the bat between the Tomei and the ETS is that there is wayyyyy less drone on the highway with the Tomei. That really surprised me. Did you have any tune issues switching between these cat backs? I’m pro tuned with the ets on, but wanted to switch it up to the tomei. I know generally it’s ok to change the catback without tuning if you’re stock, but if you’re already pro tuned with one on does changing it matter?

Not gonna lie, I bought a valvetronic exhaust for my sti, just got it in the kther day and gotta say the weight savings with titanium if u ever wanna track your car is worth it. Otherwise, the sound sounds just like SS.

These are definitely louder than the r400. I have seen some cars with it and it is a nice exhaust still. But these will give off more of an aggressive sound in my opinion. Wish I had some way of comparing it! If anybody wants to let me slap it on my car for a video I’d be down for that just to show you all 🤷🏼‍♂️

Ik some ppl dont like single exit.catbacks but there is a easy fix to that. I beliebe subispeeed or one of those places sell a cover plate For that exact purpose. Put that one and voila

I don’t have much experience with Cobbs Exhaust so I can’t say if it sounds better or not but I can say that it is much louder than the Cobb titanium one. Cobb has very very good quality parts but they also like to stay on the more legal side of things and don’t normally push to have extreme parts. If that makes sense haha

You can adjust it to lower it down, just loosen up the t-bolt and rotate the pipe a little. Also, the springs tend to rattle every once in awhile... I just took mine off recently. Just a heads up.

My ETS Extreme sounded louder from inside the car and had a bunch of drone. This one is much better in my opinion. It’s not necessarily “loud” but you can hear it when driving. I think it sounds great :)
