@@ChuckEarls yes sir. Definitely interested in seeing an on the water video. Main concern is steering/handling with the rudder controls both while using the motor and while pedaling.

Nice I’m thinking about getting the Old Town Salty PDL. I live in NY so Lake Erie and Lake Ontario are no more than a 30min or so drive. Would love to add the electric motor for more range just in case but having a PDL drive is important to me. I’ve heard the Hobie kayaks are good but I’ve also heard these have faster hull designs and the PDL drive is pretty solid in terms on reliability. I would sacrifice “some” stability for speed and agility on the water. This looks like the boat for exactly that

The Salty may be a bit of a challenge to mount a motor on the stern but it can definitely be done. The 132 PDL is the easiest and best option to mount the electric outboard

Great job rigging and photography. It seems so simple but looks very complicated to put together. Why don’t the make a troll motor that just drops into the 106 PDL?

thanks for the video...nice setup. you did a few things "better" than me. but you only made one small mistake. (that you may have fixed by now). you passed a cord through the torqueedo bracket instead of only through the eyelet, so your cord will get chewed up real quick. take care...lol
