How To Install A Trem Stabilizer

Thanks for the vid! Holding the guitar on your lap as though you're playing it is the best way I've found to adjust the claw screws. If you play right handed, balance the guitar on your left leg and use a longer screwdriver to access the claw screws.

​@jakethefate have a question about this that I have not been able to find the answer to. Maybe you know? Can you set the spring tension on the stabilizer to be tighter? My purpose would be so that I can downtune the guitar down to Maybe a max of a step and a half down easily without having to readjust the Floyd bridge and still use the floating trem. Thanks

Cool point on using the piece of wood on bottom. I installed a Tremel-No on a Strat. It locks it, but has screws to remove to float it or dive only.

The great thing is, you can now install a d-tuna, as the trem can’t be pulled up with the d-tuna digging into the guitar.
