I love those foot switches. I used one 20 yrs ago on a minn Kota edge. Worked great

Does this just turn motor on and off does it control the motor turns

It just turns power on Set the handle speed where you want it, press the button and it comes on. Thanks for watching!

That's more confusing than anything. Where and when did the primary wires from the battery get connected? From what I saw you hooked a switch to a trolling motor, when did you hook to the battery.

The switch interrupts the existing wiring.
