Looks really great! Think i would rather make a custom harnes and connect it to either they ignition, or the front light instead. That way it only gives power when the bike is on.

Very cool mods! I wouldn't have ran the wire with loom on the right side of the tank to avoid the left side of the bottom tank where the petcock is located to avoid a possible potential fire 🔥 just saying..

Thanks for the advice. Actually will put it on again in spring because it broke after my tour to Morocco. Because I used it a lot. So I will consider that next time ☺️

Hello 👋 I got my Yamaha XJ a few weeks ago and bought a holder with usb-c and wireless charging. The problem is there's no on/off button so it would pull power all the time... Do you or anyone know what I could do ? Someone I know suggested an on/off button for lamps, but I wouldn't know how to connect or if it's even a good idea

You would have to cut in to the cable probably that is most likely not the most reliable solution. There are usb ports for 17 bucks on Amazon with a switch I would recommend just saving the trubble and getting one of those
