How to install a vent for a microwave

Thank you for watching! Yes 4" is perfectly fine as its a non-heat related vent. Always refer to your microwave's manufacturer specs and recommendations, but I've only ever seen 4" ventilated units for microwaves. If it would be a wood stove, they utilize a 6" vent, but again it's usually due to the heat exhaust. Another example might be a hood exhaust only for ventilation. They might use 6".
