pardon me for dumb question, yr transmitter need battery? Thx.

Your video was very informative, thank you. I wish to add an additional switch to a 2-gang light system. What equipment is needed in that case and how do you wire it please?

Thanks for the video. I have a light switch really close to the floor and it's quite annoying to get there in my room everytime

Must admit I am confused trying to replace a simple in and out (two wire) light switch which controls all the lights in a room. The remote switch is like yours and piezoelectric and does not require a battery but the receiver unit which I want to connect to the existing switch position has live load and live supply with what appears to be a common neutral together in the middle. I can of course simply put one of my existing switch wires as live load and the other as live supply, but this leaves the neutral unconnected, so how does the receiver unit receive power to operate? Or does it need none? I have no neutral cable in the existing switch socket and the neutral line of the lights is elsewhere somewhere in the circuit behind the walls. Any tips about this would be very helpful although I can try it connected as I suggested first. I just hope that is not going to short something in the receiver circuit.

Great appliance. Where can you buy them from?

Are there versions that have 2 dimmable on one and 2 dimmable on the other?

I have an outdoor floodlight that is controlled by an indoor switch, I would like to control it also by using a Quinetic key fob button. To allow me control the floodlight using a Quinetic key fob button, do I just need to purchase the Quinetic key fob button and receiver device to attach to the floodlight? Would I need to replace the indoor switch for a Quinetic switch also?

How is the receiver "switch" powered? Most often UK light switches do not hva e any Neutral wire, so how does the switch get it's power? If it's sucking power being in series with the light, it would make many modern LED's glow brightly even when "off"... So is it a "No Neutral required" radio switch-relay or how does it get it's Neutral?

The receiver uses kinetic energy(motion). No batteries/power required. It’s a very clever idea 👍🏻 once paired, if you turn the remote switch on/off it uses a radio frequency to send a signal to the switch in order to operate
@franklydudeАй бұрын
@andysmith8901 that sounds like "gobble-de-gook"... The Transmitter with a button or a rocker CAN be kinetic, powered by the energy from pressing the wall plates switch. But the REMOTE, radio controlled RECEIVER part of the "SWITCH" needs power from the electric circuit. That's what I am asking about!!! It either needs Live & NEUTRAL, Or it is a "No neutral required" circuit which is much more interesting!

Is there something like this for a switch with 2 switches, for 2 different lights.

Would this switch work with LED lighting? I've read that some wireless switches don't work with LED lights. Thanks

First can anyone post a link to this exact switch as I cannot see it clearly on the video. And second can Amy one tell me if this worked with LEDs? Just brought 1 an the LED just flickers 😏
