So far my biggest problem with the doorbell is ecstatic. I had a mechanical doorbell with a plate cover. I have the ADC-VDB105X installed, and there is no plate cover for it. There are 2 big gab on the side of the camera; as a result, the final product does not look appealing.

I bought the skybell slim 2 and the app won't allow me to log in. Have you every heard of a problem like this? Created the account online with a computer, required, then the app won't take that login as valid. Tried customer support, they say they can't talk to me if I'm not a dealer. Any suggestions?

Stupid app makes it difficult to set up and then ADT can't help because it takes 2 ro 3 weeks to see a tech.

Amen to that. The lag and image is horrible. I got mine through adt. By the time it detects motion, and try to pull up love view, the motion is way home. And you can't select where the motion is detected. It just senses cars along with people passing my house. This is why I pre ordered the ring doorbell pro 2 to replace the junk I have now

Do not buy this, the motion tracking is terrible (I've driven right by one of ours in our car with the motion detection set on high and it didn't even record it), only records for 30 seconds then 30 second pause in between recordings. Hardware is fine but the software that powers it is horrible. Trust me, get something else.

@@trevornonis7710 Complete junk. General Contractor here of 30 years. Our (GREAT) alarm co. installed the Skybells on our own home. The knock out of synch. PLENTY of signal to both units. We even have wi-fi boosters in the home. They're junk. I have a friend with RING and NEVER, EVER has had an issue. Also with Skybell... if someone is at your door and you look at the camera while they are there (if it's someone you don't want to see/talk with) the Skybell does NOT record and incident. So, what's the point? When you get a notification someone is at your door, by the time their app logs you on to see who it is... THEY'RE GONE! Cripes... Amazon BLINK cameras have WAY BETTER software (and sensitively adjustments). With the sun on our front and trees moving, even on the LOWEST sensitivity we're getting notifications every 30 fricken seconds. WHAT is we're away or driving. Does idiot Skybell want us to DISABLE the motion feature of our doorbells until the wind stops? WHAT KIND of security is that? I'll bash these cameras on our business page, website, to clients and anyone that'll listen. Skybell is UNreliable JUNK! Skybell is the saddest joke on the electronic market. SKYBELL = JUNK!
