How to Install an Amplifier on a 2014-2021 Harley CVO Street Glide or Ultra with Boom 1 or 2

Jay/Rob - I've seen this install a hundred times, and just ordered the V2 plug and play stage 4. I have a 21 CVO Ultra Limited (FLHTKSE) with speakers in tour pak already. In the video at 5:05 you mention a backbone cable for the tour pak (if you installed one for future upgrade). Since it is already running speakers am I to assume that this cable is already online with my current HDHU GTS and tour pak, that is powering up the tour pak speakers? Just prepping my mind for the install. R/s Tom Besser

Yes if you have a factory installed tour pack there is no need to run additional rear wiring unless you add lid speakers

2019 cvo with stage 2 boom. I need to get my radio reflashed. Im wanting cicadia bda2000.4d,2 6.5s and 2x9s. Do i need a dsp?

I would recommend better equipment, all boom 2 systems need reflashed when upgrading

Did the wiring harness change in the past few months? Mine doesnt have a alll those extra plugs for a DSP or thumb control module.

Thumb control module is on the radio harness, the optional dsp plugs were added several months ago

Should the amp input be selected to high input or low input with that wire harness?

Depends on which radio is used, we preset the amp correctly for the radio you are using
