I wish they made one like this with dual usb and aux. I found one, but it doesn't fit in the hole for a cigarette lighter so you have to cut your own hole for it

I have an older Sony flat face double screen stereo i have had for many years and still like new. Is it possible to add aux to it so I can get tuned from my phone. It's an old stereo but it has great power and sound quality . I love the stereo but would be nice to use it with phone.

If you pick up a dual usb one goes into the radio where would get the power source for the second USB port ?

Some radios (like mine) have two USB ports, one for Android auto and apple carplay, and one just for USB media and/or charging, the dual is probably meant for that use case. You could take apart a car phone charger, hook it up to 12v and splice the 5v output into the usb cable if you really wanted to though

Hi, I’ve watched one of your previous videos on a Toyota Tacoma with steering wheel controls. I have everything wired up correctly but the steer wheel adapter only lights up once and then the red light goes off, and steering controls don’t work. Is my module bad? Or any ideas what could be problem

Is it a factory radio with an aux on the radio? If so I’d suggest just replacing the radio (with either a factory or aftermarket unit.) It most likely will cost more to fix the current radios aux port at a repair shop

Depends on the vehicle if you are looking to retain your factory USB with your new vehicle. We used a universal adapter, but retaining a factory USB will require a vehicle specific adapter.

why would you need a USB/Aux input to a bluetooth radio? genuine question, trying to upgrade my system myself

The radio does more than Bluetooth - apple CarPlay and android auto in most instances need a wired connection (some are wireless, yes) so having this usb relocation kit allows for easy of connection to use that feature at a convenient location, especially when the USB port is on the rear of the radio
