Is there no need to use anchors when attaching the base plate?

I'm trying to install your TV mount to my RV wall, into the backer plate. However the screws keep turning after they are screwed all the way in. Obviously the screws aren't holding tight enough to the backer plate. I don't want the TV to fall off the wall. Can you recommend a screw type to use that will hold?

If they are not getting a good grab you may have striped the hole
