So, from what i an see is that AWS is based on VM Ware Cloud or "vCloud". Now, i've worked with VM Ware cloud 5+ years ago.

Hi Joshua, You still need the AWS CLI installed, no matter which operating system. However on Mac, you can possibly use Homebrew which will make it a lot faster.
