I never installed DWM before and I use qtile so can you make video to compare the 2 window managers: pro and cons and is there a benefit to switch to DWM ?

"In default dwm you can't actually move something to the top of the stack" .. my doooooood!? Alt + Enter to move the window to master. So fundamental they relegated opening a terminal to Alt + Shift + Enter

What patch make the stack the same size as the master in dwm

No patch is required for that. Open your config.h -> look for the line "static const float mfact = 0.55" -> change the value to 0.50 for a 50/50 split.. remake and log out and back in
