I am having a problem where, if I click Training, single player, multiplayer, anything, It starts loading, gets to a point, and then shows the same screen it shows then you are waiting for the game to launch to the main menu. It shows an image of DCS Series with the version and two smaller icons under the right side of the DCS Series

Hi- I haven't played DCS in a while- was working fine which a bunch of mods installed- I've since upgraded from Windows 8.1 to Windows 10 and believe it may have updated automatically within steam to a newer version- however on trying to launch DCS world today for teh first time in months it won't launch- I get a DCS World splash screen show for a split second and then nothing.. I'm not sure how to see what version I'm running but I went to the Run.exe file properties and under details it says product version 1.5.4.54855 (I have not opted to install open betas).. (I've tried running the Run.exe file in compatibility mode and/or as adminsitartor but doesn't resolve anything- nor did adding teh 2 check markls where suggested in this video in the DCS.exe file properties either).. I don't know how to resolve this- is it because some of the mods I installed aren't compatible with this version of DCS..? Thank you for any feedback

This video is very old, so i suggest YOU DONT CHANGE YOUR DCS WORLD VERSION TO THE BETA VERSION!!! as they game is no longer in beta. however, you CAN trey starting the game from the folder, instead of from steam. yet, im not sure what mods you use and what effect they can cause. MAYBE...... try deleting the game entirely, install it "vanilla" first...... difficult to say where your problem may be coming from

+Let´s Play Indie Games Channel thanks- yeah doesn't work from the game folder .exe file. .(this isn't the beta but does appear to be the version mentioned in my comment above) the only solution I see is to uninstall and start over but I'm trying to avoid that as I have so many mods (that as I say were working fine before) I've forgotten how many and where to install and will take a long time to figure out where and how to reinstall- graphics mods like sweetfx, and specific ones for specific aircraft and specific sound mods for a bunch of specific aircraft etc. .

hey there ! it sounds like youre running a 32bit system? hit the windows key + R, then there type "dxdiag" and check what windows you have! you NEED to have a 64x bit system! there is however a way to download a "32bit beta" version of the game. by following the "beta" instructions in this video, instead of choosing "beta 1.5." , choose the one that says "32bit beta something". if you do have a 64bit system... then im not really sure what the problem could be!?

djpgamer7 excellent! good for you for fixing the problem! well, dcs world is a very tough, very hard to learn, war simulator. however it feels great when you start to learn things and start to actually finish misions! FSX is a rather old, very casual, but very awesome flight sim. with buyable mods, you can change it to look amazing. difficult choice lol it of course depends a lot on what YOU want

Helix Wletcher well i dont know then what you downloaded that took 4 hours. in the dcs world website OR on steam, you can download DCS WORLD 1.5 for free (NOT 2.0). if you download it on the website, if downloaded correctly..... you should be able to start a setup/install programm that will download/install the rest of dcs world. on steam its easier.... you simply download it on steam and when its downloaded, you can run it. dcs updater is not wrong! install it

yes im afraid if you download it on steam, youll have to download it again. two separate copies. keep in mind, on the website you can also download "dcs world 2.0" if you buy the "nevada" terrain. and i personally would recommend you buy the a10c, not the a10a, and i believe they are on sale RIGHT now, till the 24th of july

ouch. CPU i3 is very very old. 6gb ram is not enough. minimum is 8gb ram. and 2gb of Video ram is also very little. hard to say why it works for a while and crashes. try to update all your drivers

i believe you have to activate them INSIDE the game.... there is a little thing in the main menu...... next to the "options cog"..... where you can download any modules you might have purchased! hope this helps, good luck

i am not sure what youre saying to be honest! in the main menu, go to the COG in the middle upper part of the screen which sh ould take you to "options" and disable VR in the VR TAB (last one on the right) for now. i believe you must create an account at the eagle dynamics webpage , if it prompts you to enter user name and password. good luck

hehe I'm not sure if you can control the plane with just the VR controllers. maybe throttle and stick but I'm not sure. when I use VR, I use my mapped joystick. but arrows should be the stick, plus and minus on the numpad should be throttle ;) good luck

No it is not possible. This video is old . Unfortunately there is no way to go back to older DCS world versions, even in steam. But why would you want that?

a crap ton of tanks, other aircraft, big planes, small planes, and even boats and ships! there is also a DLC that lets you control many of the tanks, to control the units on the ground, including tanks, and lots of anti aircraft artillerie .... from small AAA guns to badass SAM launching sites

you don't need to pay again! but I don't understand. did you install the game on 10 different pc's? you should be able to play it on the machine you activated

you have to wait a month and you'll be able to activate it again, if you used them all up. every month you get an activation back.... So in ten months you'll have all 10 activations back

hello there. there are two versions of dcs world. one in the website that you mention (including open beta version), and one on steam. it really depends on you. if you have dcs world on steam and want the mig21 steam, buy it on steam. if you buy it on the website, I believe you must install the website version. hope this helps

the website has the open beta version AND the normal version that is on steam as well. how ever, planes like the harrier or f18 are not available on steam. very complicated and annoying. it was even more annoying until recently. keys that I have on steam, work in the website version, but keys I have on the website, do not work in steam. it's strange

if you really really want them for steam, then it's better to wait. you can always download the website version if you want to fly planes in beta phase like the harrier or f18. there is no "wrong" here. really depends on what you want
