How to install Android Studio on Windows 10/11 [ 2024 Update ] Complete guide

Step 1. Now to install Android Studio on your Windows 10 64bit OS, you need to download Android Studio exe file software. Use the following link to download Android Studio.
developer.android.com/studio
Step 2. Launch the Android Studio exe file as shown in the video. Just click next and decide if you want to install a virtual emulator to test your Android app. Otherwise, just use a custom installation and omit to install of a virtual emulator. In this video, I will show you how to use your Android phone to test your first "Hello World" Android app in the Android studio.
Step 3. We will install Gradle and use it in Android Studio. we will also Download Android Studio with SDK Tools. Just follow the video for more details.

everything connected but I get an error message "Application installation failed, the device already has a newer version of this application. In order to proceed, you will have to uninstall the existing application." I have done that but still get the error... Error is "INSTALL_FAILED_VERSION_DOWNGRADE"

While creating project instead of choosing empty activity choose empty view activity. You will get option for java and kotlin.
