I bought iarmor running boards and its exactly the same as the ones you bought. This video is great, because its specific for 2016-2018 years of Explorer. I have a 2016 and its has the holes in the same locations. Just bought running boards to get in and out easily. Instructions were not very clear and with your video, I should be able to install it tomorrow. Great video and will make my install easier. Thank you 😊

I did the installation a couple of days ago and has a couple of hiccups. One of the bolt plates with the clear plastic washer fell inside the frame. I spent like 30 minutes trying to get it out. I did use a torque wrench to tighten all the bolts to spec. I usually over tighten things and end up breaking. Just being on the floor doing this was the worst part, but I got it done.
