imo all tutorials should be done as if you have multiple drives because at some point its probably going to break and most people who will be attempting this will becoming from windows , they will be using windows to flash the drive!! and if you wreck windows you're going to be properly annoyed. also as i said multiple drives i dont recommend installing linux along side windows on one drive at all dont do it ever!!! buy another drive.

The point of the tutorial was to show how easy it is to install Arch using the new installer. I agree most times you'll want mirrored disks, I generally don't save any important data on my systems - it sits on a NAS. Agree completely with dual booting operating systems. My main PC has Windows, Arch, and FreeBSD on different disks. Multiple operating systems on a single disk can be more hassle than it's worth.

@@sheridans Thanks for replying i don't have a nas because i don't want to pay to run it but i have do multiple drives where ill keep important stuff. in fact sometimes when Ive been trying different linux os's some of them refuse to open that drive because it was created by windows and is ntfs. the one i'm using now is manjoro kde which is working pretty decently one thing that would be cool is if i could stop it from asking me for a password to access/mount that backup drive 🙄 .. cheers pal.
