FYI, you can set a background alert for REGEN ON and the gauge will flash letting you know it is active. Just an idea since you are not monitoring the ON status on your primary screen.

I just bought a 24 chevy silverado with the 3.0 and max tow, and this is my first diesel vehicle, could you explain why i should be aware of the regen monitoring? Is there something important i should do when is performing it?
@MauriceJonesJr Жыл бұрын
@@alexdel00 because you want to keep driving when Regen is active. It isn't good for the emissions system to shut the engine off mid-regen. You need to let it complete to clear the DPF out completely.
@advbikerider23 күн бұрын
@@alexdel00generally you don't want to interrupt a regen. it was more important with earlier DPF systems and this truck engine is built for frequent short trips so I wouldn't worry about it. I just make sure about once a week I take at least a 30 mile drive.

@@1441engraving, I do have the stealth mount, I am currently running my old suction cup mount as it is easier to make "disappear" in case of a service visit, why worry about any hassle if you can avoid it. I haven't painted it yet for install, and I am still on the fence about whether to or not, the black does look pretty good in contrast along with the gauge against the dark grey interior. Most people I know look to the plastic paints for Crylon or Rustoleum to find a good color match instead of paying a lot more for what Banks is selling. IMHO/YMMV

@DemonWorks11 ай бұрын
Mine has worked in my 23 and the 24, some others report it not working in their vehicles. The workaround for that is to select the 20-21 lm2 in the options but then you lose the transmission and some other parameters
@matthewhiggins110510 ай бұрын
Have you messed with the edge module? They claim a decent HP and torque gain
@DemonWorks10 ай бұрын
I have not, because it's only for the 20-22. I can see the HP / TQ gain with the way the device works (fooling the ecm into thinking the fuel pressure is less and boost is less so it commands more) but that's going to lower the mpg since it's always adding additional fuel. The dash will be off since the ecm is no longer calculating so the mpg numbers would need to come from hand calculations which I think would show false. I also dislike their claim of warranty friendly, it's not. All that aside, I do think it's a good unit on paperand wouldn't mind giving one a try when they are available for the newer trucks.
