How to install Bosch Washing Machine VarioPerfect Serie 4 in Simple Easy Steps. In this easy to follow video I will take you through the simple steps for the Bosch Washing Machine installation.
This video assumes you have uninstalled your old washing machine first and that you have all the existing plumbing and pipework in place.
During the COVID-19 outbreak many firms are not installing washing machines but you can install a washing machine yourself.

3:21 Install Drainage Hose.
3:51 Install Mains cold water feed hose (use the NEW hose).
5:04 Check pipework for any leaks.
5:37 Plug machine into the Mains socket.
5:53 Push Washing Machine into it's new Home.
6:18 Careful not to put pressure on Pipework.
6:39 Check pipework looks ok.
6:57 Adjust the feet so Washing machine is level.
7:59 Tighten feet locking nuts to stop machine becoming unlevel over time.
8:32 Run an empty quick wash to flush it through.
8:59 Check pipework again for leaks and drainage flows freely.
9:51 Final Spin, make sure it is firm and sturdy & not shaking.
10:39 Time for a well deserved cup of Tea.

Evolution Bro's Yes, the reason we got it is because it's very quiet. I think the Serie 6 can handle a bigger load so maybe that one if you do lots of washing.

No this model is cold water feed only, nearly all modern washing machines are cold water feed only as they heat the water up inside the machine.

Well a 600mm depth worktop is standard and Washing Machines are designed to fit under that without protruding too much. Depends if your cold water feed hose is directly at the back of the machine as this may mean you have to have it slightly forwards. Ideally your cold water feed should be at the side of the machine at the back.

Don't know, I've never used a top loader before but I'm guessing it's all the same. Or just use the Pods which go straight in the drum, they are the easiest things to use.

In theory no but connect it to the cold water feed, this will have better pressure and also you may do a cold water wash which won't be any good if you are connected to the hot. Your washing machine auto heats the water to the correct temperature.

Yes it should be ok. Almost all washing machines have the drainage hose output at the bottom of the machine so it will always have to pump upwards. And many systems drain into a man under sink system so this will always be higher

hello, my old WM is broke, I want to buy a Bosch machine, I have a small problem, that is space, my old machine goes under the kitchen unit, but I have only got 82.1cms space, I had to remove the top of the old model to put into the space, does the top of the machine come off for service, if so what will height of the machine then be, I intend to put the new machine into the kitchen unit without a top, the space is so tight that without the top nothing is going to get inside

Are you sure it's not the child lock? Also when the machine is running the key icon will light which indicates that you cannot open the door. Hope that helps.

On what hose? The drainage hose? If it goes under the sink onto drainage pipework then yes ideally put a clamp round it, but they are usually pretty tight anyway. If it just goes down into drainage pipework then just need a holder to stop it coming back out.

I just received today a series 4 machine. The rear feet ARE adjustable and the user manual asks you to level the machine in BOTH directions.

"Always use the brand new hose" - Why? Many, many other videos on YT highlight the unnecessary "up-sell" this represents. If the old hoses are functioning why replace? So wasteful.

A brand new washing machine comes with a new hose so may as well use it. I agree it's a waste if the old one is ok but they don't last forever and washers degrade over time.

@@LurgsHowToGuides I agree, it makes sense if one comes default. However, some places sell the new hoses as a separate cost at which point I would deter someone from making that choice if theres no existing issue. Great vid, I appreciate you taking the time.

Because of matching lifetime. Since your washing machine is new, it's hose should not be used, or the hose may go caput during the normal life of WM and you will have a leak!
