Thank you for making this video. I was curious on how much work it is. Your instructions are to the point. Great job!

You can also hit the end of the shaft that the tie rod seats in (put the nut on hand tight before doing this) the rod will pop up within a 2-5 good hits.

Of course using the correct tools is always best option. This is just an option if you don’t have the correct tools on hand. & you don’t feel like chasing it out.

Just did this the other day! pretty much the same kit. The rear lift with the heavy-duty leaf springs makes it sit up higher in the back than the front. Cool to watch your build as I am doing the same thing on my 95 Medalist!

Thanks for watching. I have the motor on mine now, all is well except I need a new controller. It can’t handle the motor upgrade
@hardwood292 жыл бұрын
@@Ozarkwild what controller are you going to go with? was that the stock one you were running it? the 4 posts? I had to get a new one on mine but kept the stock motor (went to 3 post 325amp I believe) and she flies!

Great video! Our old stock EZGO electric golf cart was going to need tires so we ordered All Terrain tires. They were delivered mashed together for shipping and the young guys at the local tire store could not get them apart to mount them. I am in my late sixties and I had to pry the tires open myself. The rear axle had already been positioned under the leaf springs at some point in the cart's life so the tires bolted right on. They rubbed just slightly on bumps so I ordered a cheap lift kit. With the kit installed the front tires rubbed and the rear tires could not even be mounted so we had to order spacers.

Very nice video, I just installed the same lift in mine but order new shocks and they do not fit they are too short, what brand of socks did you use? Thank you in advance Ozark Wild
@Ozarkwild Жыл бұрын
Yeah I had the same issue, the factory type shocks didn’t work after the lift. I went with a Monroe shock, made for a car. See this video kzbin.info/www/bejne/o6bSk4JueJx_rsk

Hey brother. Nice work! Just watched this. Not trying to be "that guy", but I noticed the front bolts on the rear leaf springs are in backwards. Have been from when you got the cart.
@Ozarkwild Жыл бұрын
I noticed that as well. Which is why I had to remove the battery cage to get the nuts off. Cage was toast anyway. And just to be ‘that guy’, I reinstalled them back the same way.

I just started doing my fronts with the same exact kit and one of my bolts won’t fit because the bracket doesn’t extend all the way across the leaf spring and is blocked by the shock bracket.
@Ozarkwild Жыл бұрын
You ever get it worked out!
@stonecrazy3 Жыл бұрын
Do you think it would make a difference if the small side of the rear lift blocks were facing the other way? My 2015 has the barke cable on top of the hub and not the bottom and the mounting plate interferes with the short side of the block but if I reverse it, it fits.
@Ozarkwild Жыл бұрын
The block slope is not that significant, so if you can get it to bolt up, might okay
@stonecrazy3 Жыл бұрын
@@Ozarkwild I went ahead and cut a notch in the lifting blocks for it to fit. See how that goes
