Thanks for this great tutorial, but unfortunately it does not work for me. I have a mid-2010 Macbook Pro, which should work according to Google's list. However, I am stuck at the wifi network selection step. No networks are visible and when I type in the SSID and WPA2 manually, it is not recognized by OS Flex. I've tried restarting and switching off/on the Macbook's wifi, but it does not seem to work. Any suggestions?

With your help (thank you) Im running Chrome Flex on a 2010 Mac mini with 16GB RAM. Chrome Flex shows only 3.58GB as total RAM in the machine. Do I have bad RAM or is this a Chrome Limitation? I've noticed your MacBook Pro shows 16GB - so Im wondering if you've had to do anything special to get all 16GB? Thanks!

Tried on my 2012 Macbook Pro 9,1 and it didn't work. However I then tried Linux Mint and so far it's working great. I wouldn't have thought to try Linux without the failed attempt at ChromeOS so it worked out well

It might be perfect for my daughter because its lighter weight. Now I just wonder if I can talk to my daughters school so she can start carrying the air instead of her heavy school issued chromebook. i believe you should be able to hold command and are on startup and then enter macos recovery and take it from there

I don't believe so. You can, however, run it from the USB drive, instead of installing it, when you want to use it.

True, no backlight so the keyboard buttons, for the keyboard brightness, do not work, because there’s no support for it. However, all the other keyboard buttons, such a screen, brightness, volume, etc. do work.
