Looks nice...come do my driveway! My mason layed a driveway as smooth as a foundation perimeter with lots of aggregate and drain pipe exposed. 1200 square feet poured afternoon in full sun over 90 degrees and he used a hand screed to ensure that it started cracking before he could finish it and add artistic lumps and rolls and dips and ridges with a porosity akin to a dry sea sponge. When he went to trowel it off it was already too dry in spite of constant misting from a pressure washer sprayed constantly over the worksite. The only good thing is that it's deep and well reinforced. The bulk of the concrete will stay but the top eighth inch is degrading and every washing and rain storm sees about 30 pounds of sand washing into the drainage channel on the roadside which I must shovel off and dispose of elsewhere.

How come you are not applying a light coat of water before you apply the layer?
@DuraamenFloors5 жыл бұрын
Not necessary. If need be then spray a mist of CP1000

It is used in commercial kitchens. Will hold up for a very long time.

I have one question: If you are we servicing a basement that has NO expansion joints do you need to create expansion joints if you were going all the way up to the concrete walls? (For example the bottom floor/basement of a raised ranch). I would prefer not to have them mainly because raised ranch basements don’t normally have expansion joints originally. However, I don’t want to cause myself headaches down the line.

Our products do not need expansion joints. But, if they are in the floor already we recommend honoring them

I have a 100 sqft concrete surface that has an area near the center not leveled (1/8 of an inch) which causes water to accumulate. Can Skraffino regular come to the rescue? How much of the product would I need? Where can I get Skraffino regular grey in Ontario, Canada?

We sell directly to the end users. You can purchase online

Yes. Certainly.

In same situation, would love to even out 3 surfaces and make new rectangular cut ins for a clean modern finish. Southern California sun makes this stuff cure quickly.

Hi. How long does the surecrete have to cure before you seal it?
@DuraamenFloors4 жыл бұрын
I am afraid this is Skraffino.

How does this compare with Ardex? What if your concrete has moisture underneath occasionally?
@VictorPachade5 жыл бұрын
Skraffino is very easy to use as compared to any other micro toppings in the market. Moreover, Duraamen has a complete system including colors, sealers and top coats. If there is moisture below then Perdure MVT is recommended. www.duraamen.com/perdure-mvt
