5:30 I can not appreciate enough, I always had some doubts when moving Rar files to vortex; thought the vortex might no be fully integrate it to game. After 318 hours, gotta mod this for another 500hours (former 2014-2016 modderdovahkiin greets kinkind)

Best difference between Cyberpunk modding and Bethesda is that when I screw up a mod install in Cyberpunk or screw up my folders, I can still just play the game normally and it doesn't break the game and make it unplayable! I've had Skyrim and Fallout4 in unplayable states for over a year while not having the energy to do full re-installs of everything (Which sometimes ALSO isn't even possible) or trying to fix all my mods and files manually.. When a mod list for Cyberpunk 2077 doesn't work you can still just play the game normally! BIG GOOD!

@@gageandrews7231 i replied to this on my phone and it appears it dident go through so i apologize if this is a repeat of a msg BUTTT id say give this ago (it sorted out my random issue with it, IMPORTANT!!! You may need to install the latest Visual C++ Redistributable for the mod to run, you can get it at aka.ms/vs/17/release/vc_redist.x64.exe and then if that doesn't fix your issue, try launching the game using epic games or steam depending where you got cyberpunk 2077, it should then allow you to bind a key to open it will pop up during the starting screen hopefully that helps dude but yeah i did reply a couple hours ago i just think it didn't send on my phone

When I launch cyberpunk through vortex, it launches the redprelauncher, not the game (I have the GOG version). It used to launch the game directly, but not anymore after one of the updates to the game I'm guessing. Is there a way to fix this?

hmm im not sure BUT, when that launcher pops up make sure mods are turned on using the lil cog wheel and enable mods, i just launch using vortex but i have seen others say just launch the game normally, as for errors id suggest making sure all mods are up to date, i havent had these issues recently

My mods that use archive xl, codeware and another framework mod are saying that i don't have those three mods installed. The compiler says i need to install them but ive downloaded and installed the latest versions manually. Ive even done a clean install. I don't know what to do

Any suggestions on what to do when you keep crashing after character creation? I play on PC, have really good hardware, my game is updated and the mods I'm using are as up to date as best as I can get them. i have a couple thoughts, so my first thought was equipment EX, you could check to make sure all requirements of that are updated and the mod itsself BUT i googled it and apparently deleting your settings file could work, www.reddit.com/r/cyberpunkgame/comments/kb0can/crash_after_char_creator_delete_your_settings_file/ thats a reddit link above for extra help on it (i only said equipment ex because my friend had an issue with it not saving presets and crashed their game) let me know if that helps or you you find a suggestion, hopefully that helps though

I did what you said verbatim. Click the download on vortex option for cyberengine tweaks and it shows up just like it does on your video. However when I launch the game I don't get a menu to bind anything. I've tried a manual download and drag and drop and it doesn't work.

when you launch the game, try using another launching option, like the red launcher and click the little gear icon next to play and make sure mods are enabled. but also after your mod is installed try launching the other way and you may get the binding option too

You may need to install the latest Visual C++ Redistributable for the mod to run, you can get it at aka.ms/vs/17/release/vc_redist.x64.exe

I recently tried modding 2077 and it worked for about 5 mods, then refused to launch when I added another. I ended up having to do a clean install for it to launch again without crashing before the first intro scene. 😑

thats very ood actually, normally modding is very forgiving with this game, just gotta make sure you install the requirements for any mods and keep the mods updated, using vortex mod manager makes things easier

If you installed using vortex mod manager make sure you launch using the mod manager, also yk when you launch the game using say epic games or whatever your launcher is, hit the lil settings icon when the red launcher pops up and make sure enable mods is checked

when cyber engine tweaks IS installed. it will when you open the game be like yo bind a key to open if that dident show up you may not yet have it installed (edit) and the key i chose was the title key, underneath the esc key, but you can use any key you want id just highly recommend that key

normally no, cyberpunk mods have had to be updated with the game, BUT if you have the latest release of a crack then yeah it will work, but just about everyone whos said there game is cracked has had issues

I just checked some of the main mods have been updated since the last patch, perhaps there updated to the current game version and about ready, because you can't mod the cracked version of the game as the mods are uodated past that game version, if that makes sense, so maybe update your game and then your updated mods will work, I normally just wait a couple days for the mods to get updated then it's all good and ready to go. Other then that I'm unsure, I was on last night with all the mods including virtual atelier and car dealer, both were working

make sure mods are updated, you could have an old mod thats messing with it like let there be flight for example that has many issues and can be a pain (its a cool mod though) other then that, launch game with vortex and if your allready launching that way try launching another way sorry i cant offer too much help with this atm i tend to sit at my pc for hours at times just trying to troubleshoot my issues when they accur

Try going to steam and having it check the integrity of cyberpunks files, it might help. Or just keep trying to launch the game until it gives you a pop up saying it wants to attempt to fix and check the files that aren’t working. That made my red script error go away and the game started working

it shouldn't be, make sure everything is updated and that your game isent cracked (cracking doesn't work with modding as far as ive seen with others comments)
