Agreed. I tried using the vortex mod manager for many of the basic tools like Codeware. Well, it bricked my game and I had to do a fresh install since I couldn't figure out everything those tools altered. This guide worked a treat though.

Bro i don't usually comment on youtube but for you MY MAN YOU ARE THE FUCKING BEST!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! you have no idea how much i have searched for a proper tutorial on how to properly install mods, yeah it's easy as hell but my problem was that i did not have all the frameworks i needed and i jumped straight to the mods , i i eventually became really frustrated as hell, but then lord jesus shed a tear of light and dropped me your 40 minute god like of a tutorial and i thank you a lot for this. hopefully this tutorial gets the recognition it deserves.

Glad the video was informative. So far everything in this video is compatible, but best thing if you have space, backup your game directory and saves and go wild. Even if you break something its a learning process. I broke my entire game countless times trying out different mods or pilling them on top of each other.

​@LastKnownMeal There is a really handy mod that runs a program and purges all mods from your directory. You just run the verify files via Steam or GOG after running the program. You have a clean install again. I've used it twice and it has worked like a charm on both occasions.

I've modded other games and got so confused because I got used to having a dedicated mod folder you just drag and drop everything into. It threw me for a loop when I couldn't find anything like that, and everything I was looking at just said some variation of "just drag and drop" but wouldn't answer the question of "drop it *where*?" So seriously, thank you. And thank you for walking us through all the frameworks. I know from experience that missing one of those can be a real pain.

Nice guide thanks! I think the problem with a lot of the mods is that you find a mod and check the requirements and realise it needs a few things you don't have, so you click on one and check the requirements and realise it needs some things you don't have, so you click on one and realise it needs some things you don't have, and so on. Before you know it that one mod now needs 10 other mods installed to work, at which point I wonder if it's even worth it and don't bother.

Ok... I just built a monster PC and peripherals I have always wanted. I only started and played nearly all the way through Cyberpunk a few years ago. Never finished it due to my setup being god awful at the time and not really having time... I just purchased Phantom Liberty and decided to mod the game to see what this machine can do. I have very little Mod experience, and I must say, sir, you are a Godsend. I followed your guide and downloaded nearly all of what is here, aside from a few things that were not for me, but the main stuff, yes. I then saw a different creator who curated (as you did) a few mods that I was really looking forward to! BROTHER, I HOPE YOU WIN THE LOTTERY! I am obviously extremely both excited and truly in awe of what modders can do. My game is absolutely gorgeous! It plays so well and has QOL changes that make this game so much more enjoyable for me and my girl who are sitting here astonished by human capability. My best to you, sir! Thank you very much! Installed nearly all of these mods except one of the car packs, as I want to know all vanilla cars first. I also installed Blade Runner's flying Spinner and the Let there be flight mods ;) EDIT: Bummer! I just now learned that "Let there be Flight" mod is not supported by the new update. And this was the main reason for me to mod the game 😂 Hopefully it will reappear in the future.

God this is so COOL and simple. I think while I was doing this I did something wrong, or a mod got updated. But when opening the game it tells you what is causing the problem, and a tiny idea on what to do to fix! (Mine was to just go back to tweakXL and download a certain version) And it just kinda.... works? Seriously beats the headache and strife I get while fighting with vortex. Don't get me wrong, I know vortex has its perks... buuuuut this is 100% the way I'd rather do it. THANK. YOU.

Very cool. I really wish I had the ability to invest in a really good PC as that is a continual investment lol. But it’s always impressive to see the mods especially when they are put towards enhancing a games potential or escape or immersive value… Honestly stuff that should be in the product to begin with from the game creators… But I digress😉 I would love to enhance different graphical, fidelities, and world /NPC/character aesthetics and true customization elements and body modifications with mods but alas, unable to go the PC route. Stuck with the console versions, and it’s still good, but like I said… Entertainment, escape, and immersive elements that should naturally be in the game are typically things that modders have to add because reasons.🤦‍♂️ But this is a great guide by LKM here . Hats off to the modders who made these mods for the game, great job. And happy for those who get to enjoy them and that added touch 👍

But I’m sure you’re of the same mind in that censorship is the death of authenticity. 😉 Of course, we both know that simple truth Can lead to complicated perspectives and interpretations. I always hate seeing potential or authenticity unrealized out of Disillusioned fear and placated control, given to individuals or forces that has /have nothing to do with your creative project. Literally stifling that escape, and genuine intentions, to satiate the whims/feelings/narratives Of the manipulative attention seekers and non-consuming. Whether it’s cyberpunk or something on the extreme other end like Zelda or Mario. I hate it for those creative developers wanting to use these resources and finances to realize the truest success of passionate, creating as much as possible only to have the resulting aftermath of a project blatantly show evidence of disingenuous tampering and wasted potential. Just speaking in general terms But I’m glad that the PC at least has the ability to allow creative individuals to unapologetically create. If it’s not for you, then that’s cool (sounds like a you problem n that’s fine ) but we shouldn’t let that stifle genuine authenticity and creativity. Especially just to placate a small group or narrative of typically controlling attention seeking disingenuous delicate sensitivities. But anyway, some console mods would be cool 😁👍 and yes…. Great vid/guide here .

i done everything right but when loading game with "enable mods" on steam redlauncher it says "Mods Excecutable has crashed" what does that mean do i have to install somthing else like not steam to play it on?
