I am using same mic (2 mtr cable length version) with deadcat and gain at -8. I have a bluarmour stick-on mount. the strap mount lets in more air increasing wind noise.

Hello... 1. For motovlogging, 2.7k60fps is recommended... Which gives more than 3hrs with 128gb memory. 2. Yes you can record while charging this camera, but you cannot use external mic. If you want to use mic along with charging it, you have to purchase its Adaptor

1.I record in 2.7k60fps.... Gives more than 2.45hrs of shooting in 128gb memory. 2.any charger /adaptor works for charging. I use laptop, or bike charger, or my phone charger
