did you notice any loud chirping sounds especially at ile that increase with throttle after isntalling this?

Yes, I did at first , I was nervous that I didn’t install it correctly, but I reached out to Dorch and they said that the pump is supposed to sound like this. After a while, it quieted down, but you still hear it at idle. i’m thinking about adding sound deadening around the pump.

@@malayaf30 would you add DEI or Nogevo sound foam to the pump itself or ontop of the fiewall and cowling?

WTH? Your hpfp is on top of the motor? We have to remove our chargepipe and intake manifold to access ours.... You're so lucky!

Just installed the DS25 in my 340 too. Is it really loud even inside the car for you as well? Just making sure I’m not going crazy

YES, the HPFP sounds very harsh at first after installing it I thought it came with problems but when I accelerated my 340 with this new HPFP my doubts disappeared.

@@grsupraa9187 Been about 8 months, I’ve gotten used to it for the most part now, but every now and then it’s annoying still. I’m thinking about 3d printing a custom small box that snaps onto the fuel pump, covering the entire thing, and load the insides with some sound deadening. Trouble is making it small enough to fit but big enough to load enough sound deadening material in. Also lacking the motivation to do it lol
