Yes!!! In the beginning I was very intimidated, but it was easier to do it than I thought! A timer is a must, too!

Yes a time saves on lots of work.

You seem to have an easier time with main line connections than I do. Good video.

Well that looked nice and easy to do, thanks Ambrose, 👍🏼 I love to hand water though, when I’m out the back with all my girls (desert roses) I talk to them (lol, no I’m not crazy 😉) but I find that’s where I can relax and I’m at peace ... also I have to ask, have you changed your recording camera, bc this video is absolutely so clear, it’s amazing guys. 💜💕🌺💕💜

If you use the Rainbird hole punch instead of just trying to punch the barb it’s a lot easier.

Does this deeply water large shrubs in the Midwest?

So, the very first tubing that you put on in with the faucet can that tubing be hidden underneath the ground? I don’t really have access to water in my veggie garden other than with my 150 ft hose. I want to be able to do irrigation, but I want the tubing to be underground. Can that be done? If not, what tubing would you recommend? I need a lot of tubing before I can even insert emitters to my plants.

Yes it can be put in the ground attached to a hose. It would work just the same. As long as the pressure regulator is working great so it doesn’t expand your water hose. If you have a heavy duty hose it should be fine.sorry it took long to get back to you.💚💚💚💚💚💚

Thank you for the video on drip irrigation. I will be installing this in my garden as well. Do you think you could do another video but show more in depth of installing the drip system through out your garden?

I can definitely do another soon.

What can be done if faucet is on one side of driveway and planting bed is across on the other side of driveway & walkway? I'm trying to avoid running g over tubing with car tires
@GardenObsessions3 жыл бұрын
So there two possible ways to accomplish this one being the expensive labor intensive work and the other being the cheapest way possible. The expensive way would be to run the line under but again very expensive. The other is to buy a splitter for your faucet and run an inexpensive short water hose across the drive way that won’t break with vehicles and attach the drip to the end of that with an attachment. Not the prettiest but irrigation save on lots of watering time.

@@GardenObsessions Thx so much for the quick reply.I will probably try to save some coins and go for the cheaper route. Do you think if I ran tubing across the top of garage brick wall then back down to planting bed that would cause a strain on water flow? Just brainstorming.And I know that you won't be responsible for any of my decisions.Thx again for your advice.

Happy for you guys you got one installed. We had a landscaper do ours (many zones and tubing had to be run under pavers) but after adding more plants to the landscape, I ran to HomeDepot to buy more tubing, emitters, etc etc. Will be tackling that project soon. It's a real peace of mind to have an irrigation system.

Definitely great to have and more time to enjoy than watering.

Did you connect the 1/4 inch tubing into the 1/2 inch black or the 1/2 inch emitter tubing too run to the last container?
@GardenObsessions3 жыл бұрын
So to answer your question you can run the 1/2 tubing from either one. You will get the same pressure from either or. If tapping into the brown tubing you want to tap into in the center of two emitters.
