Not necessarily because when you get a per-built pc your drivers, graphics cards etc are all set to a certain level of performance and by downloading drivers even with a pre-built, it can enhance the performance of the pc

Always do custom install. You want to get rid off the old drivers and not overlap them. Can cause issues

I just bought a used graphics card for my PC, I deleted my drivers on my old one but it doesn't boot with my new graphics card. All it does it beep 8 times stop for a second and beeps 8 times. It does it over and over. Any ideas on why its not working?

Just a heads up for beginners building the pc. I finished my build and did not need to install any drivers and the computer is soo fast lol. I think it automatically updates the drivers or something because I did not do any driver updates or installs after the build. I did receive my exsternal dvd drive today and I do plan insert all the driver Cds tmro and see if it makes a difference or not. But so far it runs amazing. Great build Scattervolt. Thank you agian ! @@gcc989 Hi Gustavo Carrillo, You don't need to update right away, I played for 3 days with no updates. But the updates are needed eventually to insure your parts stay working the best they can. Yes you will need a Windows operating system after you build the pc, he shows you where you can get it in the video for free. But you will have that watermark on the bottom right side of your screen for free version. As far as cables go, I purchased all the cables I needed, they will come with cables if you buy new parts, my monitor came with 1 HDMI cable in the box, the computer PSU will come with a power cable to plug into the wall. The cables will work, but if you want a better quality cable you will need to buy separate. But if you already have a Computer keyboard,mouse,Speakers and a Monitor than No you will not need any additional cables. Hope this helped, let me know if you have any more questions. Tim
