Why would you do a 520 instead of 530 next time go with a 530 with 11,000 tensile strength, you will get more mileage and handle the abuse better, Ek 530 with a 11k strength is for 1400cc but the thing will take a long time to stretch R1s all take a 530

Hey brother " D " I always ran the master links with the clips on my cbr 1000rr and i rode it HARD!!! and never had any issues with any of my chains 👍 But ain't it always when you've got plans that something always goes awry 😁 Way to be determined and get that chain fiasco figured out!!

@@FastLaneD I had been told the same thing , but after running them with clips and popping wheelies and doing topend pulls and just flat out getting after it with everything she had to give , No Problems ever . And I ran atleast 5 chains that way . I my rethink that theory on today's 1000's , my 04 cbr 1000rr was piped , Dynojet power commander 3 and k&N filters and it was pulling 159hp at the rear wheel , and today's 1000's are more than that in bone stock form . So knowing what I know now , I'd buy the tool kit for doing the flatbed master links 😁 You be safe , ride hard , ride fast , but ride Smart!!!

Why didn't you just go +2 or +3 in the rear first? Tighter front sprockets usually make your chain wear and stretch faster.
