It's a cost-effective way to make your home look like it has quartz or marble flooring. It's also great for moisture or spillage. I think I'm going to do this in my next project It's going to take some time to educate myself on prep and installation. I think it will run me about $2k that's an estimate. The only issue is if it messes up it is hard to repair because of its durability. It has its pros and cons. It's very slippery when wet but it can give that luxurious finish.

They make a metal strip you could use to transition and could feed the epoxy into that instead just pulling tape. It would also prevent possible cracking of expoxy. They use on tile when it butts up against hardwood or carpet. Nice work.

How long do these epoxy floors hold up and what’s the upkeep/maintenance to keep them looking like this? These look amazing by the way! Also we just purchased our dream home 2250 square ft ranch. We are weighing the options between epoxy flooring or tile floors throughout the whole house. I’ve done tables with epoxy with good results but don’t think I’m willing to chance screwing up the floors in our new home, so this would definitely be a hire a pro/you all to do the house just want to make sure I know what to expect for maintenance and upkeep vs tile. Any advice would be greatly appreciated! Also our new home is in the Northeast of portion of Georgia, Brasselton/Pendergass area of Jackson County.

They're extremely soft and imprint/stain so easily. Even a printed plastic bag will transfer the ink to the epoxy if its left for longer than a few minutes. Steer well clear. You'll regret it eventually if you opt for an epoxy resin floor.

On a new build can this be done on the subfloors? Or do you always have to poor self leveling concrete first.

Quick question, I have recently got my floors done and it has a gash in it and a little tiny hole that got filled up but that hole keeps coming back and my floors dont have that gloss going thru the whole flooring. I was told the gash come from the apoxy contours to the flooring. I wish I would've came across this video before doing my flooring

Great work as always guys. Love finish work. It's where you get to showcase your talents and skills. Do you have products or techniques for wall applications? I am looking to redo my tub wall all in one unit in my bathroom. Always perfect technique and skills on my own stuff before offering it to my clients.

Very nice job! Two questions. After you applied the black paint and squeegeed it out, how did you prevent footprints all over the place? Secondly, how durable would this be in my 2,400 sq. ft. post frame building? Thank you.

That turned out fantastic, I’m 60 years old and I’ve done acid stain many times and you know acid stain can be a pain in the you know what. I want to get into the concrete coating business also I’m assuming that that was fresh new concrete and did I see a basecoat on there originally?

Hello! For this project we re-coated an existing epoxy surface that wasn't holding up so we cleaned it, primed it, and got to coating. For an idea of how we recommend coating over freshly prepped concrete floors, watch this video: kzbin.info/www/bejne/rauahXuGhtqrnqM. If you are interested in getting into the concrete coatings business, our online training Academy might be the perfect fit for you! Do you come out and do this for customers? Or do they have to do it them selves. I have black granite counter tops and want them white with some gold beige and maybe a tiny bit of grey. And then to small formica bathroom vanities. Not sure what this cost to have done but would live it done.

Dear Leggari Products Team thank you for the video explaining the step by step instructions for installing epoxy floors. i found the information presented to be well prepared and informative and you clearly showed the importance of planning and preparation in terms of mixing substrates work in sections . Question 1 : how long must I0 wait after installing the primer for us to start on the base coats? question 2: how long must i wait to start spreading and laying the highlights after the base coat for a section has layed & covered with roller? your response will be appreciated. this is a great tutorial. Kind Regards J Munawa

I wish we have something like this in the Philippines. I'm not sure. Cause I don't want to use floor tiles because when it breaks, can't find a replacement plus, I really hate grout and spaces, it's so hard to clean.

Can you do this on sub floors after removing linoleum or can you go right over linolium?
@nickmoser8235
@nickmoser8235 3 жыл бұрын
I wouldn’t suggest going over the linoleum. I can’t comment on the sub floor. It may be possible so long as you have an underlayment that contains the liquids. It would be a nightmare if you didn’t waterproof it well enough.
