Hey man, one last question. If I have EUP 8.3 and this installed, and then install a texture replacement pack for most of the agencies (The Real California EUP pack by Officer Rodriguez) will that work with your configs etc? As the California pack basically just replaces the EUP textures from lore friendly to real. Just wanted to make sure it will still work with your configs for UB and LSPDFR though. :)

Yes they will work. Just be sure to replace them with the appropriate department and whatnot. Don't forget to change your settings as well for different jurisdictions. So LAFD will spawn in other places besides Los Santos of course.

You don't have to install anything else for that. Just select the default cars one. Also I don't use his mod or Beta versions of eup so I don't know what's included in his requirements.

You only need to use Open IV to install EUP Law and Order and Serve and Rescue. Just drag and drop the EUP backup configuration files into your game directory.

It's where the GTA V exe is located. For me I use Steam so it's in the common folder. You can use Steam and browse files to find the game folder.

how do we then change the uniforms after we install this? I have added custom clothing before adding this and it makes some of the outfits a bit broken, how can i change the outfits (on the peds i mean not on my own character)

I can't answer that question because I don't know what pack you are using. Your best bet is to contact the developer of the EUP pack you are using and see how to set it up.

@@JoeCWilson no i just want to change the number index’s for the ped characters, im using the normal EUP pack i just have some replacements for some of the Law and Order clothing, i just want to change the character index for ped uniforms?

It would depend on what you are replacing. If you want to change a shirt texture, you can find tex_shirtoverlay and change the number using Ultimate Backup or the default backup menu

All XML files for different departments can be found in the lspdfr custom folder or in the ultimate backup XML files. Which files you need to change depends on the specific department and the clothing included. Some EUP packs only include a partial uniform pack, while others include the entire uniform. However, it's rare to find a pack that replaces all clothing for a specific department.

--> How Do I Remove Hats? You can locate "prop_hats" in Ultimate Backup XML files, and Prop id= in the data folder XML files for the prop hats. The same goes for any other type of prop - just locate the phrase "Prop" or "Prop id".

I use eup menu / duty selection menu to see my uniforms in-game, but I use the Rockstar Editor to showcase the mod.

You need to install LSPDFR and the modification linked in the description. If you were referring to a partner Ultimate Backup has an option to copy player ped's outfit, while all regions in GTA 5 have their appropriate uniform for their jurisdiction.

No. Units won't show up in their proper jurisdiction for example, and departments that rely on custom region settings would not work correctly. Del Perro, Rockford, Highway, etc.
