How To Install Fakro LWK Loft Ladders

Would the installation bolts used, (the ones that support the unit before its screwed in) work in a half height floor. By which I mean installing the ladder and hatch into ceiling joists, rather than floor joists.

Same here, I don't think it will as the hatch will be higher than the ceiling joists

The product code is not LWK and cannot be fitted this way . This one is LXK . Taking the lwk back as not easy fit and swapping for keyline

Please do not buy this type of ladder it does not self close door and which require special tools to open and close the attic and you are not safe deposit box for attic to lock attic door or to hide your treasures it simple use for going up and down and customer service is very bad
