So because of the amperage power of these lights, it looks like you can only use Aux switch 1 and Aux switch 2? That makes having any big powerful light bar (40” on the roof) and maybe a 20” on the bumper useless because only 4 10amp switches will be left. Also!!! Why didn’t you turn them on in the end so we see the difference in the SAE and off road.

Great video, it would be cool to just power them from the factory fog light hardness laying there instead of wasting an aux? Any chance you guys will do an updated video, or ofter a way to just leverage that harness? I just got a bronco with the same bumper, and no lights, so looking to add some!

So if you have the OEM fog lights you can tap into the harness but if you did not get a Bronco with fog lights you would have to swap out the entire panel inside, it’s a little more involved which is why we just recommend using the aux switches! If you tap into the fog lights you also lose the ability to use fog lights while using your high beams

@mcmahonhouse1829 sort of, you have to replace the panel inside your Bronco to the fog light version that has the fog light switch, if your Bronco does not have fog lights from the factory you won’t have the switch inside your Bronco, does that make sense?

@@kchilites Yup, totally makes sense now. thanks for spelling that out. So, with the setup you did, you talk about using aux 1 and 2 for modes. If your in street mode, you only flip aux 2 on, and offroad, do you flip on both, or just aux 1?

You mentioned your OCD, I can empathize. The serrated washers have a concave to them (like a dish), does the concave point to the headlight housing or point into bracket?

After watching the vid I am more confident in doing this job myself, but since I already have the Gravity Pro 6 roof lightbar and Flex Era 3 pillar lights connected to Aux#1 and Aux#2, respectively, I will not be running these lights via OFF-ROAD MODE. For the STREET MODE, which Aux Switch is the kit connected to?

It’s not too bad to do yourself! I would switch aux 2 with the off-road version of this kit, and run your a-pillars on aux 3 and use the fog lights on aux 4!

@@kchilites If I'm running the Flex Era 3 on the pillars I think I need to 2 switches (one for the amber back light and 1 for the actual light). Would you use Aux 5 then for the backlight function on the flex era 3?

@brentbounds2367 yes! You can also tie in multiple Flex Era light so all your backlights are on one switch!

How hard is it to jump the fog function to the factory switch and spare an aux? Seems like I would be straight forward but I'm still waiting on my bronco so I can't pop the hood and see if there's any limitations.

I spent some time looking for a fog switch and could not find one on ours. If you have factory fogs it’s totally doable and not too difficult! -Jacob

Depends if you bought a stripped down (shoulda bought a jeep) or a high end Bronco (Wanted a Rover without electrical and oil issues)

I’ve seen another video where if you got the “capable” bumper, that has OEM fog lights, then you have the fog light switch on the headlight switch in the factory location, and some trims (apparently Lux trims) were prewired with the fog lights anyway however on the modular steel bumper equipment models, you must replace the headlight switch and use ForSCan to enable them to function. ✌🏼
