Well..this would have been VERY helpful 12 months ago when I converted during my vortech install lol. Any clearance issues with a V1 vortech install using OEM vortech brackets? I'm using a 10 Rib.

Depends on the size of your radiator as well. I have a SVE radiator and a Vortech V1 with an 8 rib pulley and there is like a business card width of clearance.

When reinstalling the hub does it require a small spacer between the bolts and hub since the fan took up a small amount of space ?

The water pump mounting flange has through-holes, so spacers/washers are not needed. -Landan

What brand aluminum radiator do you have? There are several options out there and it's difficult to R&D a part to fit everything under the sun. We built the brackets around our SVE radiator where no modifications are required. Thanks. -Landan

@latemodelrestoration it's all good, I have a pretty well stocked garage, I just think some other people would benefit from knowing they might have to modify the brackets slightly to fit their needs, mine turned out just fine, my brackets also did not come with the instructions but I watched your video and had no problems. Please keep up the good work, whether you know it or not you help a lot of people!

Does this make the perceived engine noise less or more than the stock fan?

Electric fans still make noise. I've honestly never paid attention to it because either setup is going to make noise regardless. I know this doesn't help or answer your question, but I'm just being honest with you. Thanks. -Landan

Yes, but it isn't a direct swap. You'll need 5.0L upper radiator brackets, our Contour fan bracket kit, and a standalone controller such as the Dakota Digital unit on our website. -Landan

Stacey - Are you fully tightening the overflow tank retaining hardware while the tank is straight? Once the tank is straight and the hardware is tight, there won't be an issue. Thanks! -Landan
