Hi, from France, I have the same problem, I bought the windscreen gt for my 8R, and I'm afraid of breaking something!. I thought it was enough to remove the 8 small screws, but the instructions (not very clear) indicate that it is necessary to dismantle the fairings and part of the dashboard!...In addition, you must not reuse the small screws. In the box they provide new screws with rubber silent blocks. Have you found a solution? However, I am a good handyman, but I am afraid of breaking the plastic clips! Best regards

Hi! Are they compatible with Suzuki GSX s1000 2023?

Can you install these with the bike on its kickstand or do I have to have a center stand
@TSTindustries7 ай бұрын
We would highly recommend installing these with the bike on a rearstand or any other method of keeping it upright and not leaned over.

Are the handle bars lowered in this video ?

Yes, we installed Woodcraft Clip-Ons.

@TSTindustries6 ай бұрын
@@EndThinking it's not as simple as just installing the clipons. This bike has many parts that interfere with the handlebars and controls in that position so several non-trivial modifications must be made to accommodate a lower bar location.

So no threadlock is needed?

Nope, as long as the recommended torque specs are met.

@@v_smodz4464 the only model number I've been able to find is a sticker with "Model #30095" and "Model #30096". We use two different types to cover a broader range.

Damn. I just did the exhaust and put everything back together because I thought this kit didn’t have to mess with the body. Well ass. I'm not doing it now. 😤

hey can you give me any confirmation that you dont need to unscrew the tank bolt? The one directly under the suzuki decaling, I think you can just slide the fairing off without it correct?
@TSTindustries7 ай бұрын
We would recommend removing it to make it easier to flex the fairing. I do believe that bolt locks into the side fairing partially so we would absolutely recommend following the process shown in this video.
@piture7 ай бұрын
@@TSTindustries ah ok thanks
@piture7 ай бұрын
@@TSTindustriesthe fairings definitely don’t lock into that bolt.. anything else you guys are wrong about? The whole right side plate doesn’t even line up on production model bikes.. reinstalled three times now and the front most bolt 8mm can not lock into the bracket. when left side went on perfect with no issues.
@TSTindustries7 ай бұрын
@@piture that upper fairing does apply some “locking pressure” onto the side fairing which is why we recommend removing it for ease. If you find a method that you feel works best without removing fairings or certain bolts, that’s fine but we show a method that makes the majority of our customers and viewers comfortable with the installation. Regarding potential figment issues, we saw your previous comment and our Support Team will be able to respond and provide troubleshooting when we return to the office. We’re always willing to provide help when it’s needed and as long as it’s received in a positive manner. It’s also important to note that this is a production model bike and the kit installed in this video was a final production kit.

Man I do think you guys have a slightly different model than the production, my right side slider plate can not set up correctly to have the brackets not strip the screws, emailing support for much needed help and or replacement. Feel you guys push these out of production way too quick.
@TSTindustries7 ай бұрын
We’ve sold a ton of these kits already with no issues so hopefully some quick troubleshooting can get you all squared away. As far as feeling like we push them out too quickly, I’m not entirely sure what you mean by that. We perform extensive testing and design checks before ever launching products for public use.
