I already downloaded xex and freestyle. But whenever i plug in my usb its not showing any of the files. When i go to setting/storage my usb is labaled as unformatted even it was already in fat32. What should i do to fix it? My xbox 360 was already modded. I just lost the usb that was originally set up with it.

Change the USB drive.. try some other USB devices if u have.. i had the same issue and i tried different USB and it worked.. may be the the USB hardware is not compatible with the console.. hope it help

On my xbox360 not download automatically covers now. Many years ago works. Why?

But what if my freestyle dash is already built in? Is it still possible to switch between default and modded dash?

Yes it is possible but requires careful deletion or moving the freestyle dash installation directory to your USB drive from your console HDD.. only! if you have grip over folders or directories, if not plz don't mess with it. It can cause u some serious trouble. Hope it help thanks..

everything is working for me besides that my xbox was modded beforeand whenever i go to the Xbox storage HDD it shows unknown files there is no cache no nothing im fimiliar with

Note that you can only install it on modded xbox.. you can download it from Google. Its a homebrew app

You mean external HDD? Yes you can use external HDD instead of USB and its safe too. You can also use internal console HDD as well but then you need to delete the installation directory in order to switch back to the original dash.. deletion stuff is little risky if u r not a pro coz it can damage ur console if you mistakenly delete something else.. hope it helps..

Hmm.. ok while you are on your laptop or PC look for a skin folder inside the Freestyle dash folder you downloaded from the internet and see whether it has a file by the name default or not, if not just re download the freestyle dash from some other source also make sure what version of freestyle dash you are downloading.. make sure your dash board supports it.. hope it help thanks..

What about the home button? I mean turn on the console after you hear the starting sound wait for a minute then press the home button from your controller (the x logo button) you will see a popup menu, navigate to settings then navigate to System settings..then select yes.. you will be directed towards xbox original dash board.. then go to xex menu from games.. on the same time from ur laptop download free style dash and copy the default skin from it to a Usb device.. now put that usb inside ur console and by using xex menu copy it to the free stlye dash content/skins folder.. when you boot back you screen will be there hopefully
