Yes, but they forgot that men have big fingers and there is only room in the tiny hole for X3 fingers at a time, which sucks, why not make the damn hole 1/3 bigger so we have use our whole hand in tee hole.

depends on year i have a 2005 and there is no access panel i have to cut a hole or drop the tank

nice job, but i would have taken an air hose around the old fuel pump and wipe down fuel pump before you started to remove it, just to clean up the dust and dirt so nothing will fall in tank. just saying.

Got this lock ring on then realized that bar was in my way for the connector. Now im on my sixth hour trying to get it back on

From 05-07 you can not access fuel pump through back seats. 2006 models received a facelift, new interiors and front fascia including headlights. Along with a new 3.5 v6 engine. 2007 models include a 5.3 v8 engine

When you cut the wires from the old clip to connect the new ones .. Are they color coded .. ?? .. I did a check on the one that you had the link to and they was all white .. And how did you purge the pump before you took it out and how did you prime it before starting .. I know its a lot .. Just want to make sure before I get into this .. ps .. Rock Auto has this unit for under half then what you paid at Amazon .. Thanks in advance ..

I'm having trouble right now. Putting it on my 04 Grand Prix. It has the same exact setup as this Montecarlo. How'd you do it?

did you disconnect the battery? or purge the fuel pump? because I keep getting gasoline spraying out of my fuel lines when i try this

Yes, I disconnected the battery before starting this repair.

2005 Supercharged Monte here and it has no access panel to the fuel pump. Many of these cars don't.

The super charged SS Monte Carlo came out in 2005, and the SS impala super charged car came out in 2004. I have a 2001 SS monte carlo, its been a great car with 250 Kmiles on it, and I think my fuel pump is getting weak.
