In today's video, we're going to show you the step by step process of how to install G20 Carbon Fiber paddle shifter extensions! The process is very straightforward and adds a great look and feel to the steering wheel on your G20 BMW! If you have an A90 Supra, the process is essentially identical and uses the same paddle.

Thanks for the help. I tried today and found some tips. 1. Unlocked the car 2. hold the media button to close the screen manually 3. Take of the negative battery 4. Using T20 screwdriver to take off the paddle shift

Has anyone used the paddle shift extenders that connect to the stock paddle shifters? Any bad experience with those? I want to avoid having to remove the airbag, was looking into the add on extensions, but I read a review that they touch the steering wheel and do not actually shift..

Brian , hi . I have a " tip " for you . M8 / M8 competition.. We all know that the lesser powerful M850i sounds much better than an true M series . Everyone is trying to get that " V8 " sound that the M8 is lacking. My challenge for you and your great channel is this ...... . Shorten the M8 tail pipes by not cutting them from the tips but from ( if possible ) from the back box ...... . Then , just for experiment use the chrome exhaust square surround that the m850i has either by replacing rear bumper or someway with your genius mind around the shorthend exhaust tips . Imaging the Bmw M850i rear end but with M8 competition 100mm tail pipes. This will give the Bmw M8 an deeper V8 sound that buyers would love. Please experiment ... You could be the 1st in the market to modify. Many thanks . Reply pls just to confirm. Thanks

Quick question. I disconnected the negative battery terminal in the trunk and the light in the trunk stayed on. Is that correct our does the one under the hood need to be disconnected also?

There’s a secondary battery under the hood. Passenger side.

Bravi 👏🏻👏🏻 ?: after disconnecting the battery do you need to wait and/or drain any residual charge before disconnecting any airbags?? Nice shifters. I own an E82 with the older style pull/push paddle shifters. I use them all the time! Keep up the great videos, thanks.

Not sure how it is with the G20, but on the F series he recommended to wait about 10 minutes after opening the trunk, so that the car is in sleep mode before disconnecting the battery, so that it doesn’t throw warning lights after reconnecting.

I have just tried to apply this on my new X6 LCI and realized that the trunk negative alone doesn't completely disconnect the airbag as the horn was still on, wondering if you know how I can do on the new MHEV models to get it fully disconnected so I can carry out the work?

It takes about 20 minutes for the power to be fully drained out of the electronics. Then you will be able to continue

I just bought a used 2020 M340I, horn and paddle shifters don't work, neither does the wireless charging pad. Tried changing fuses, still doesn't work. I suspect the car is tuned because it's ridiculously fast and came with a custom exhaust. Can someone help?

Eh i wish i could fit g20 interior into my f30. For me The New Series 3 looks amazing inside, but outside.... There something missing ;)
