This product is not good , I used 5 bags on my driveway and backyard, followed the instructions and what happened was a disaster with lots of mess and Labourer . The sand didn’t not set and hardened , it washed out of the joints and it was Sandy . I had to use a pressure washer to clean everything out . I contacted the customer service in Montreal and spoke to a lady , she was supposed to get back to me but a week later , no calls whatsoever. Not a good product and terrible customer service . I’ve lost a lot if money / time and Labor. Not nice !!!

Hi , we use this product for long time on my jobs , we never get problems, you must did something wrong in the aplycation , look easy and is easy when you do the paver join but you need experience doing this kind job, somany customer trying to do the job if self but by the end they get damage the job on paver join.

@@ivansuarez5179 why can't your customers do it themselves? What's so complicated? You spread out the sand, hit it with plate compactor, make sure sand is thoroughly in the joints, and water. What are the "experts" doing that's so special?

@@Matt_G824experts are properly cleaning the pavers and joints. If I re-sand a older patio it’s necessary to remove atleast 1/2inch of the joint. Nothing can be inside, must be properly removed and rinsed. Additionally we’re treating the joints with sodium hypochlorite to prevent organics. Then re-sanding it 1/8th under the joint, fully compact and wetting it perfectly. Not under wetting or over wetting. If you have just a crust hardening something was done wrong. Most likely watering portion or cleaning.

BE WARNED folks about this G2 product...it is a complete disaster. It doesn't set properly...somethimes just the top layer hardens...when it rains many spots reverse the hardening and turn back into sand. Have talked to company and even they admit it is a test product that's only been out a year (how is there a 15 yr warranty then?) This was a very very expensive failed product. I am far from the only one having issues...now that I have looked around the web.

Wish I’d read these comments before I recently used this product on my back patio renovation. I selected this because I specifically wanted the ivory color. Complete and total disaster. 1200 sq ft of patio that is failing at every joint. I now have to have the installers come back and pull all the jointing sand up and replace it with a product that actually works. It never cured. I called the company myself at the beginning of the project and talked to their technical department after doing a test patch and voiced my concerns that it was still spongy and seemed to not be setting. The person I talked to assured me it would set but may take a couple extra days due to the temperature. I authorized the guys to start and it has absolutely NOT set. It’s been about 3 weeks now. Really unfortunate that this product continues to be sold in the market. Something is massively wrong with the recipe.

@@TheAllianceGator Please see my comment below. Someone needs to evaluate this product line. It’s creating costly and time consuming issues for far too many people. It’s not right that this would continue to be sold without a technical remedy. Instructions were followed to exacting standards and it was a complete disaster.
