How to install GPS antenna in Android Head Unit on Volvo XC90 MK1 (2002-2014)

After filming this video, I routed the GPS antenna into the driver's side A pillar just for neatness purposes. This is not mandatory, as the GPS worked fine, even with the antenna behind the radio.
The head unit is quite easy to use, I will make another few videos showing how to use it, and how to install the microphone, radio antenna, and reversing camera.
This android head unit is 2GBs of RAM and 32GBs of storage, which is significantly better than others on ebay selling for the same price.

I seem to have an issue with the unit flattening the car battery. I have set the unit to ‘no sleep’ . Does anyone have any other ideas why to try as unusable at the moment.

In my screen, the GPS said "WAIT" maybe because I don't have internet right?

Hello My unit keeps on saying GPS signal lost every 100 meters. Some one suggests to keep the GPS receiver exposed out on the dashboard not inside it. Not sure if it solves my issue.

Try rerouting it to a different place I have rerouted mine to the right hand side a pillar
