I do clutch side first because, since that side will usually (Harley grips) only fit one way. You can then line up any logos or whatever because the right side grip is adjustable... I did an attic insulation job once... ONCE.

Nice work!👍...did Avons on my my R/King and love 'em. Trick I learned was spraying bar with Windex 1st for install, grip goes on easy & it evaporates quickly. Haven't had to use adhesives yet! The front brake perch can be tricky because of the brake switch. Harley's are notorious for breaking easily, some people shim it especially when changing levers. The ones you instl'd are a great match to your diamond pattern saddle!👍

Stop in at a Dollar Store and buy yourself a couple small metal food/water bowls for a cat or small dog. They work great for holding hardware so you don't misplace it. The kind with a non-slip rubber ring around the bottom are best. I been using them for years so I don't lose small screws, nuts and bolts while working on my Harleys. Ride safe ✌🇨🇦
@MotoBlonde4 жыл бұрын
Great tip! Funny thing is, I have one of those magnetic bowls but it's holding things up on the tool chest and I forgot about it 😆
@danielmorris36874 жыл бұрын
@@MotoBlonde A magnetic bowl would work perfectly. Not many things more annoying than having to put your tools down and drive to the hardware store because you've dropped a nut or bolt and couldn't find it again to finish the job. I've had way too many of those experiences in 35 yrs of wrenching on my Harleys.
